How do I know if a key logger has been installed on my computer and if it has how do I get rid of it?

    Almost all key loggers make a file with the extention of "LOG"
    on the end. Use your search function to search for *.log

    And then use notepad to look at each one,.
    IF you have a key logger, the log file will show your typing ect with times usually (or dates).

    But like the other folks said, if you have a Anti Virus program it should find them.

    ….unless its a hardware keylogger, which is not detected by any software what-so-ever. You have to look at your keyboard cable and make sure it is plugged right into the ps/2 or usb, with nothing in between it.
